AIGP

Integrated Landscape Management Areas (AIGP) are an initiative created as part of the forest reform, aiming to manage and organise rural land in a more efficient, sustainable, and collaborative way.

They seek to reduce the risk of rural fires, enhance the economic and environmental value of the landscape, and support agriculture, forestry, and biodiversity.

BUPi provides the cadastral and legal foundation that allows AIGPs to operate effectively in municipalities without a land registry.

AIGPs also promote access to funding for managing properties within the covered areas. In order to apply for this support, properties must be properly identified.
