Documentation for identification
Choose the option that applies to your case to see which documents you need to prepare for identification.
- Citizen Card (Portuguese national ID card) or Identity Card and Tax Number
- Tax Authority Land Certificate (you can check it online here)
If you are the owner or co-owner by court decision:
You will also need to provide the court decision that proves it.

Accessing the platform
To access the BUPi platform, you just need to authenticate using one of the following methods:
- Digital Mobile Key, linked phone number and respective PIN (learn more about Digital Mobile Key here)
- Citizen Card (Portuguese national ID card) and PIN (this method requires a card reader and a plugin installed on your computer)
